Biography
Lawan Ali is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Grow Tech Nigeria Ltd, one of Nigeria's most dynamic agricultural solutions companies. With over two decades of experience spanning agribusiness, agronomy, supply chain management, and agricultural policy, he is widely regarded as a thought leader in Nigeria's agricultural transformation journey.
Born and raised in Borno-|Maduguri, Nigeria, Lawan Ali developed a deep passion for agriculture from an early age, inspired by the farming communities around him. This passion led him to pursue a formal education in Nigeria, followed by his advancement in Agribusiness, equipping him with both the technical and commercial acumen needed to build a world-class enterprise.
He founded Grow Tech Nigeria Ltd with a simple but powerful mission: to make quality agricultural inputs and expert advisory services accessible to every Nigerian farmer — regardless of farm size or location. Today, the company has grown from a small agro-input shop to a nationwide enterprise with over 150 staff, operations across all 36 states, and membership in the prestigious Agro commodities Alliance network.
Under his leadership, Grow Tech Nigeria has forged partnerships with leading international agro-chemical companies, tractor manufacturers, and research institutions, while remaining deeply committed to empowering local farmers and cooperatives at the grassroots level.
He is a the president,of Castorseed Growers,Processors,Markters Assoction of Nigeria(CGPPMAN), and an executive of the Federation of Agricutural Commodity Associtions of Nigerian (FACAN) and sits on the advisory board of several federal agric development programmes. He is also a sought-after speaker at agricultural summits, conferences, and investment forums both locally and internationally.
